Frequently asked questions
If you don't see your question here, email hello@ultratour.haus — we respond within 3 business days.
Do I need to buy a new scanner?
Not necessarily. If you already own a Matterport Pro3 or another certified scanner, you can start immediately with zero hardware cost. If you need a scanner, the Agent Bundle includes an Eagle Standard with the cost spread across 24 months.
How long does processing take?
Typically 15 to 45 minutes depending on property size. You upload the scan file and the platform processes it in the cloud. You get a text and email when your tour is ready. Close the browser, go to your next showing.
Do I need to install any software?
No. ULTRATOUR runs entirely in your browser. Upload your scan file, manage your listings, and publish tours — all from any browser on any device. Nothing to install on your computer or phone.
What happens to my scan files?
Your scan data is yours. It lives in your account. You can export or delete it at any time. ULTRATOUR never sells or shares your scan data. This is the core reason ULTRATOUR exists — agents should own their own spatial data.
Will my tours work on Zillow and MLS platforms?
ULTRATOUR generates a standard embed code that works on any MLS platform that accepts iframe embeds. We are pursuing Zillow Tech Connect partnership — the slot that opened when Matterport was removed in October 2025.
How is this different from a 360° camera tour?
A 360° camera captures flat panoramas stitched together. It looks immersive but has no real geometry. ULTRATOUR uses LiDAR to capture true spatial data — real measurements, real proportions, real ceiling heights. Buyers can click any two points and get an accurate distance. That is not possible with a 360° camera.
What is a Gaussian splat?
It is a photorealistic 3D rendering method that produces tour quality significantly better than standard point clouds or meshes. Think of it as the difference between a standard photo and a RAW image — same scene, dramatically better quality and realism. ULTRATOUR uses Gaussian splat reconstruction on every tour.
Can buyers see inside closets and the garage?
Yes. ULTRATOUR's open/close reveal states let agents scan each closet, cabinet, pantry, and garage in both closed and open positions. Buyers tap a toggle in the tour and see inside. No other platform does this systematically.
How much does it cost?
Tier 1 Basic is $59/month — bring your own certified scanner, unlimited listings. Tier 2 Agent Bundle is $169/month for 24 months and includes an Eagle Standard scanner that you own outright. Office and Estate tiers are available for brokerages. Pricing may vary at general release.
When does ULTRATOUR launch?
We are onboarding a small beta cohort in DFW in 2026. Priority goes to agents who already own a Matterport Pro3. Email hello@ultratour.haus to express interest.
